Flights to Zadar 2024 – direct connections from Poland
Hello travellers! We have great news for you - very soon you will have the chance to visit the beautiful city of Zadar in Croatia on flights from several Polish cities. This year too, Ryanair is offering direct flights to Zadar!
From 26 March (Tuesday), flights depart from Kraków and Poznań, from 31 March (Sunday) they are joined by Wrocław, on 1 April Gdańsk and Rzeszów, and from 18 April also Warsaw (Modlin). This is a perfect opportunity to discover the charms of Dalmatia while enjoying its sunshine, picturesque coves, and rich historical heritage. If you can't wait for your holidays, treat yourself to a spring city break. No matter which part of Poland you live in, you can easily reach Zadar and enjoy a wonderful getaway on the Adriatic.
A quick flight and simplified procedures after joining the Schengen zone
The flight takes between 1.5 and 2 hours, and airport procedures and check-in times have been reduced to a minimum since Croatia joined the Schengen zone in January 2023.
It would be no exaggeration to say that today, on a rainy, cloudy day, you can decide over breakfast in the morning to set off on a trip and by the afternoon be soaking up the rays of the sun in the south of Europe. It's not only tickets that can be purchased electronically. On flights with hand luggage only, check-in and generating boarding passes also take place online. The only document you need is your ID card. At the airport you don't wait in line at the border control point; after the security check you go straight to the flight gate.
More connections during the season
All lovers of Croatia who enjoy travelling quickly and comfortably will be pleased to know that this year Ryanair has decided on a significant increase in the number of connections during the season.
As stated on the carrier's website, from the beginning of June to the end of September the planes on the Kraków-Zadar and Poznań-Zadar routes will fly 7 days a week, on the Wrocław-Zadar route 6 days, from Warsaw 4 times, from Gdańsk 3 times, and from Rzeszów twice a week.
Tickets are currently offered at attractive prices, so if you have the opportunity, it's worth deciding to buy in advance.
A compact airport close to the city
Another plus for travellers is the compactness of Zadar airport and its location close to the city. The building's modest size and simple layout mean that getting around the terminal poses no difficulty even for people flying for the first time. Right at the exit of the arrivals hall, an airport bus awaits guests, stopping at three points: the ferry port Gażenica, the main bus station, and the centre of Zadar by the walls of the old town. The journey to the final stop takes about 15 minutes, depending on traffic.
