There are also several places in the city where you can leave your car free of charge (map below), all year round:
- RAVNICE parking lot - ul. Marek Marulić, approx. 600 m from the old town. The parking lot is very crowded and there are usually no free spaces.
- Parking lot next to the police station - on the corner of Bana Josipa Jelačića and Domovinskog rata streets, 1.2 km from the old town. A large parking lot where you can almost always find a free space.
- Parking lots at the VIŠNJIK sports center - V1 and V2 approximately 1.4 km and V3 1.9 km from the old town. Large parking lots, there are almost always free spaces.
Drivers who do not pay for parking or exceed the parking time will receive a ticket under their windshield wiper and their car will not be towed.
Anyone who parks their car in a prohibited place or in a place intended for disabled people must be prepared to have their car towed. The cleaning service works extremely actively and effectively, so be very careful where you leave your vehicle!
If, after returning, you do not find your car in the place where you left it, it was most likely taken to the towing service parking lot, where all cars of careless drivers are deposited. It is located approx. 600 m from the old town.
